And here we go!

A lot of pressure goes on to the first page, I hope I manage to inspire those who will come after me! Having it be exciting and funny was one goal, while the other was introducing the main character and a few others, as well as giving an idea of the world she lives in, but leaving a lot of possible options for whoever does the next page.

I also tried to cram as many paranormal phenomena as I could into it! Vampires! Bigfoot! Crop Circles! Even flying saucers, though I only realized afterwards that I had put that one in.

I think it's pretty obvious where the name Draculstein comes from. The name of Sage's boss, Fib Mullbrain, aside from its humorous implications, is a combination of the names of two famous (fictional, modern-day) paranormal investigators - and I noticed later that Fib was an anagram of FBI, what do you know! Sage's sidekick, well, let's just say that if I were to give her a last name, it would have to be "Quatch".
